Dr. Alvarado is a Surgical Dentist at the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega University in Lima-Peru. He completed his international rotations in the Technical Facial Traumatology Service of the Division of Dentistry of the Central Institute of the "Hospital das Clínicas" for the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sao Paulo and by the Surgery Service Maxillofacial of the Juarez Hospital of Mexico in Mexico City. Currently, he is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon of the Naval Medical Center "Major Surgeon Santiago Távara" and the American DentalCent (Headquarters). Postgraduate Professor of the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia de Lima-Peru. He is currently studying with related research in the area of facial reconstruction.

Dr. Arango started his studies at the Universidad CES in Medellin, Colombia and completed his Bachelor's and Masters there. He continued his career as a resident Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Midwestern University in Illinois. He is now a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Melanie Coathup

Dr. Coathup qualified in Medical Cell Biology from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom in 1992. She completed her Ph.D. in 1999 at the Institute of Orthopaedics, Division of Surgery and Interventional Science, University College London (UCL) based at the internationally leading Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, UK. She became an Assistant Professor at UCL in 2001 followed by an Associate Professor before becoming Head of the Center for Tissue and Cell Research at UCL and Divisional Head of Athena SWAN and Women in Science in 2014. In October 2017, Dr.Coathup joined the College of Medicine, University of Central Florida as Professor of Medicine and Director of the Biionix Cluster. Over the last 24 years, Dr. Coathup has worked in Biomedical Engineering and orthopedic innovation with the view of investigating and applying scientific discovery to improve the treatment and care of patients. During her career and in collaboration with fellow scientists, clinicians, engineers, and orthopaedic manufacturing companies, her research has focused on improving orthopaedic implant fixation and enhancing bone regeneration, focussing on translational themes that include biomaterials, stem cells, the design and follow-up of implants, implant infection and novel synthetic bone graft substitute materials.. Her research excellence has been recognized internationally through her publications and through receiving several prestigious UK, European and International prizes from her peers.
Senior Director of Global Regulatory Affairs and Operations at Medtronic
Daniel Moelands has 25 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and has expertise in global regulations and their impact on medical devices, biologics, drugs, and combination products. He has met with regulators worldwide and in his most recent position, he provided enterprise-level governance, support, and training for Regulatory Information Management systems and processes, which also included Unique Device Identification. He has led the functional integration activities related to acquisitions and major programs, such as the preparation for the new EU Medical Device Regulations. Daniel is a visionary and strategic leader as well as an engaging speaker.
Daniel started his career working for the Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board, after obtaining his pharmacy degree at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. In 1995, he moved to the United States and worked for Noven, Baxter and Medtronic, mostly in Regulatory Affairs functions with responsibilities spanning several geographies across large product portfolios. He completed an MBA from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in Pharmaceutical business.
Themis Tomumanidou Ph.D

Themis Toumanidou graduated as a Dipl-ling in Mechanical Engineering in 2009 and obtained her MSc Degree in State-of-the-Art Design and Analysis Methods in Mechanics, Materials, and Manufacturing from the University of Thessaly in 2011. She completed her Ph.D. in Computational Biomechanics in 2016 from Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya. Currently, she is working as a Structural Heart Research & Development Engineer at Medtronic CardioVascular focusing on the design & development of cutting edge transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) in Galway, Ireland.
Sara Principi Ph.D

Sara graduated in Biomedical Engineering in 2011 at the Università Politecnica Delle Marche in Ancona, Italy. She completed a master’s degree in medical technologies at the Universitat de Barcelona, in Spain. In 2017 she received the title of Doctor in Biomedical Engineering, for medical physics research in the field of radiation protection for fluoroscopy applications at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is involved in a project focused on the modeling of realistic CT scanners and on the validation of a deterministic linear Boltzmann transport equation solver for patient-specific CT dose estimation.

Camilo Arango MD.
Dr. Arango is a Dentist and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who specializes in oncology and complex reconstruction. He earned both his degrees in the CES University in Medellin, Colombia. And has had his work presented in numerous national and international congresses including the Colombian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The AAOMS Annual Meeting and the European Congress for Cranio-facial surgery. He has significant experience with the reconstruction of mandibular and maxillary cancer patients by means of a free fibula flap and has used 3D technology in more than 80 of these cases, which he has been following and publishing.
Carlos Torres MD.
Dr. Torres is a Plastic Surgeon with more than 10 years' experience. His second specializations are in hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery. He is an expert in free flaps, peripheric nerve surgery, brachial plexus, wrist arthroscopy, facial and facial palsy. He studied medicine in Colombia's National University and did his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery in the same university. Dr. Torres' experience has led to him receiving the Arcadio Forero and Guillermo Nieto Cano awards by the Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery. He presently works in his private practice as well as the San Jose teaching Hospital in Bogota.

Dr. Miguel Angel Murcia is an orthopedist oncologist expert in complex trauma, muscular skeletal tumors, metabolic diseases, and limb salvage. He graduated as Surgeon of the University of the Institute of Health Sciences CES, later graduated as Orthopedist and traumatologist from the Pontificia Bolivariana University in Medellin and then performed the subspecialty as an oncology orthopedist at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in agreement with the National Institute of cancerology in Bogota DC. He is a member of SCCOT, International Limb Rescue Society (ISOLS), Latin American Muscular Tumor Society (SLATME), Orthopedic Latin American Society (SLAOT) and current Board Member of the Antioquia Orthopedic Society (SAOT). He currently works as an oncologist orthopedist at the Pablo Tobon Uribe Hospital and at the Cancer Institute of the Clinica Las Americas
Zaki Taissoun MD.
Dr. Taissoun is a specialist in Medical Oncology as well as Head and Neck Surgery and Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery. He is an expert in cancer diagnosis, thyroid cancer, throat and larynx cancer, head and neck tumors and thyroid disease. He studied medicine in the Univerity of Zulia in Venezuela where he also got his residency in general surgery. He specialized in oncologic surgery and head and neck surgery in the UNAM in Mexico in cooperation with the Nacional Cancer Institute of Mexico. Today he runs his private practice in the city of Medellin, Colombia, and works with numerous hospitals in the country for the treatment of oncologic head and neck patients.
